Gryffindor inside and out, and extremely proud of her heritage, scottish Marlene is not someone to mess with when it comes to her country and its enchanting tales. Muggleborn and living home with her father and seven cousins, four boys and three girls, Marlene's life has been anything but easy. Losing her mother and aunt early in her life, and having a father with a tendency for the bottle and who still could not get over the fact that England (Brittania) and Scotland (Scotia) weren't constantly fighting anymore, Marlene was forced to grow up at a far too young age.

Taking care of her cousins as best as she knew how with the limited amount of money they owned (drunk fathers do not make good employees), she was rewarded when an eagle owl brought the letter that literally saved her life. The people in her village, who were basically brought up with witchcraft and tales to survive and entertain, offered to take care of her family so she could be set free and go to Hogwarts without a care.



During her six years, Marlene has finally been able to reconnect with her inner child. Getting along with almost everyone, even a Slytherin now and then, Marlene is calm yet also very determined to make sure people feel comfortable around her. A habit coming from taking care of her cousins.

But as the time draws near when she has to leave Hogwarts, it is surely to be noticed that our dear scottish lassie is slowly closing herself off again. Being in year six now has made her aware that even Hogwarts is something that does not last forever. And so she enjoys every single second of it, for as long as she possibly can.

Her favourite subject is Herbology, alongside Potions. Her least favourite would be Defense against the Dark Arts. It is debatable whether that fact has something to do with her en her entire family being killed by Voldemort's supporters while she was among the Order...
